CREATIVITY is ART
Art is the creative expression of oneself. Our inner thoughts, emotions, feelings, spiritually, can all be creatively manifested through Art. It can be said that whatever is created is Art but, it has to be more than just that. Art has to mean something special to someone and must have the ability to reach out and touch someone’s heart, mind, soul or spirit at any given .jpg) moment in time.
Once the expression of self is transplanted via the platform of vision, sight and sound, it then displays the Creativity that encapsulates Art. Whether it be the Spoken Word (Rap, Comedy) or any of its many forms or the Written Word (Poetry), Freestyle Design (Paintings, Graffiti), Hand Craft (Sculpture, Wood Carving, Basketwork) Theatrical Movement (Plays, Theatre) Dance (Choreography) or Screen (Films, Movies)… ART presents itself in many disguises.
We’ve tried to capture some of the very best Creative works on these pages, albeit it’s just a small selection from the mass of talent that’s out there. And, although some sections are currently void, we’ll be filling up those spots real soon.
